Pop-Up Event on the Patio with Three Sisters Eclectic Arts

Shoppers and art enthusiasts can take in the the beautiful fall weather and Minnesota art on Saturday, October 17 from 10-2 p.m. Guest artists will include Summit Hill Preserves and Kate Pearce Studio. Both artists will share their work on the patio and be available for the questions and curiosities of shoppers. Summit Hill Preserves offers handcrafted jams and jellies in a variety of seasonal flavors. Kate Pearce Studio creates colorful, full-length aprons available ready-made or custom. Long Lake Area ART Show

The annual Long Lake Area Art Show’s mission is to create a venue for local and regional artists to display and sell their artwork and to provide a fun family event for the community.

This event is organized by local artists and sponsored by several local businesses. Several  local and regional artists will be showing their unique art work under one roof, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a variety of handmade art,  painting, photography, pottery, jewelry, fabric art, wood art, fused glass, etc. in  a comfortable setting. Free Concert by Rising-Star Organist Donald VerKuilen

Up and coming concert organist
Donald VerKuilen will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at the
Cathedral of Saint Paul, 239 Summit Avenue. The concert is part of the
Cathedral’s Centennial - 2015 celebration. VerKuilen will perform Charles-Marie
Widor’s “Symphonie IV in F minor” along
with selections by Saint-Saens, Bach and Peeters on the recently-expanded Aeolian-Skinner organ, one of two historic
organs at the Cathedral of Saint Paul.

Great opportunity to get professional photos of your furry friends!

I was approached by Brian Steege, who is a professional lifestyle and animal/dog photographer from Cincinnati Ohio, and his parents have a house on Lake Minnetonka. He is looking for volunteers for his upcoming photoshoot when he is in town July 25-30. He is looking for dog, dogs and owners, cats, cats and owners, puppies, kittens, purebreeds, etc. Brian is going to have a studio set, and then some location stuff. Any and all volunteers will not be required to pay.
