Wayzata Art Experience

June is the month to see art on Lake Minnetonka. This event, hosted by the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce, includes all forms of art—even culinary, garden and performance. Kids can have a good time with cool workshops like wand-making and hot air balloons. The visual artists in a variety of media, including clay, glass, fiber, wood and paint are selected by a distinguished jury. All ages. Free. 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday. Art on the Lake

Meet and support local artists at the 35th annual Art on the Lake event. It’s a fun day on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, in historic downtown Excelsior. Worried about getting hungry? Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Laugh along at the antics of two scheming vacationers as they con money from the wealthy women of the French Riviera. Their rivalry comes to a climax when they wager it all on an American heiress, and songs and laughs ensue. ART IN THE HOLLOW: A hidden urban wonderland comes alive with Artists in Action!

Swede Hollow Park ~ just a mile from downtown St. Paul ~ feels 100 years away.

This, the first neighborhood in St. Paul’s immigrant history, lies languorously all spring waiting to bloom in June with open air artists, performers and a public sculpture contest.  Our tradition of nurturing and showcasing local talent continues with performances and demonstrations/sales and plein air artists creating in the park representing past and current cultural communities. Ballet Minnesota presents Giselle, an enchanting tale of love and romance

Ballet Minnesota presents the iconic ballet Giselle during their 27th Annual Minnesota Dance Festival, May 1 & 2 at The O’Shaughnessy on the campus of St.Catherine University, 2004 Randolph Ave., Saint Paul.
