I was approached by Brian Steege, who is a professional lifestyle and animal/dog photographer from Cincinnati Ohio, and his parents have a house on Lake Minnetonka. He is looking for volunteers for his upcoming photoshoot when he is in town July 25-30. He is looking for dog, dogs and owners, cats, cats and owners, puppies, kittens, purebreeds, etc. Brian is going to have a studio set, and then some location stuff. Any and all volunteers will not be required to pay. You will receive 2 digital files retouched for use in any fashion except for retail purposes. The general time a dog lasts on a set is one hour.

Brian will have a cutoff of July 23 for scheduling purposes.
He is looking for any and all types of dogs, but he will not have a trainer on set, the owners will need to be present, and the dogs will need to be well behaved. He will have an instruction pack for interested/committed parties.
Here is Brian's tentative plan.
July 25 - arrive, scout location, prep for the week
July 26 - off-lake imagery (perhaps 4-8 dogs needed) - I haven’t yet defined what this is exactly.
July 27 - Studio portrait imagery - I am hoping to set up an indoor/outdoor studio. I will photograph as many dogs and cats are possible on a variety of studio backgrounds. Ideally, I would love to photograph 25 well-behaved animals. Ideally, owners would be present. The portraits would look very similar to the ones I have on my website. Pure breeds and mixed breeds welcome.
EOD - 1 dog + owner portrait
July 28 - Location portrait imagery - Portraits created at 2-4 locations of any and all interested. Ideally 25. These images would include a pastoral or dramatic background and foreground. Pure breeds and mixed breeds welcome.

July 29 - Athletic dog imagery - athletic well trained dogs with owners being photographed in highly skilled activities - running, jumping, fetching, swimming, etc. We would be on location at a place that has multiple options.

July 30 - dog + lifestyle - Dogs with local models doing lifestyle type of imagery. 4-8 well behave dogs might be needed. This would include outdoor activities related to water with people.
