Boom Room Jazz

Join Boom Island Brewing for the 2nd installment in the monthly Boom Room Jazz series! Featuring the return of Brad Bellows & Company, music will begin at 7pm and will run until approximately 8:30pm. GermanFest Minnesota: Art with German Heart

Three days of"Modern Art with a German Heart‚" featuring interactive art exhibits, Polka Police, strongmen, weiner dog races, and of course, beer and German food!

Kids can create art, while mom and dad can enjoy a beer and a brat. And the whole family can rediscover German heritage through art, music, and food.

Celebrating Local Literature at the University Club

Carol Connolly’s April event features not just writers, but people who publish and teach literature. A retired lawyer. A short-story writer who always fills the room with laughter. Throw in a Minnesota Book Award genre fiction finalist. Who could say there’s not something for everyone?

Charm, by Philip Dawkins

Philip Dawkins’ CHARM is a beguiling comic drama revolving around Mama Darleena, an African American trans woman in her 60s teaching an etiquette class to trans youth experiencing homelessness in a LGBTQI Chicago community center. Her students range in sexuality, race, and gender identity from a Latina trans woman, to a cisgender couple, to a member of a local gang, to a gay suburban teen. Lake Minnetonka Studio Tour 2016

Discover ART -- A springtime tour of artists' home studios in the Lake Minnetonka area

A group of artists around Lake Minnetonka will be opening their home studios to the public on Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, 2016. It is a perfect time of year for people to enjoy a springtime drive, to discover inspiring and beautiful art, and to see first-hand the studios where artists create. The hours are 10 – 6 Saturday, and 10 – 5 Sunday.

Paint Party with Three Sisters

Join us for an afternoon of creative fun as we paint a stand of birch trees with acrylic paints on stretched canvas.

No experience is necessary and step-by-step instructions will be provided. The cost is $30 dollars and all supplies are included.
