Delano Band Blitz II

 

Band Blitz II is coming to Delano MN!

Saturday, September 8 

7 p.m. to 11 p.m., 

Delano Legion Parking Lot, 200 Babcock Blvd W, Delano, MN 55328

Band Blitz II will raise money for the nationally-recognized GreenCare for Troops program & the Delano American Legion Post 377.

Two bands with Delano connections will perform at the event.

CHUCK & DON’S MINNETONKA TO HOST SAVE-A-BULL RESCUE ADOPTION EVENT

To celebrate its 28th anniversary, destination pet supplies store Chuck & Don’s will hold an company-wide birthday bash and inaugural adoption event at most locations throughout Minnesota and Colorado. The events, which will take place simultaneously on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, will celebrate 28 years of business by providing activities to customers while supporting local pet adoption organizations. "Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome"

2018 “Cody’s Dash for Down Syndrome” is on Sat. June 16th at Central Park in Hopkins.  Our event is a 5K run/walk family event, with a kid’s dash, kid’s games, face painting, balloon artists, FREE Dilly Bars, live music, food trucks and much more!!! All of the proceeds from our event support the FREE therapeutic, educational, and social programs for children and adults with Down syndrome, at “Gigi’s Playhouse” in St. Louis Park. Reach for Ralph

Hammer Residences, Inc. is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1923 by Alvina Hammer, Hammer provides residential caring support for adult and children with developmental disabilities. Hammer Residences, Inc. serves more than 1500 individuals with a wide range of intellectual disabilities like Autism and Down syndrome. Hammer serves 284 people in 36 homes and 10 apartment complexes in the western metro of the Twin Cities. We also provide specialized services to more than 1,600 individuals in their homes. 27th Crime Prevention Golf Classic Fundraiser

The Crime Prevention Fund is a 501c3 nonprofit. Your sponsorship, participation, and donations help fund DARE, Scholarships for Westonka and Orono HS graduates, Youth, Neighborhood and Elder Crime Prevention events, Safety Awareness and other educational programs and services that support Crime Free Safe Communities for the people and schools sever by the Orono and Minnetrista police departments. Community Breakfast

You are invited to join your friends, neighbors and community members at the Annual Community Breakfast to benefit Western Communities Action Network (WeCAN) on Thursday, April 27, at the Gillespie Center, 2590 Commerce Boulevard in Mound.

The event will run from 7 to 8:30 a.m., with registration starting at 6:45 a.m. This year’s featured speaker is Kevin Borg, Superintendent of Westonka Schools.
