Oak Knoll Lutheran Church of Minnetonka will be hosting a unique combination Book Fair and Bake Sale on Saturday, April 27^th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. More than 40 local authors will offer their books for sale at tables, and those authors are also happy to talk to the public about books, writing, publishing, and to answer questions you may have about getting your own stories into print. Breanna’s Star is a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving in support of Breanna’s Gift, an organization bringing visual arts, dance, music and theater to children with life-threatening illnesses at Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest and Children’s Minnesota in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Enjoy appetizers, wine and beer, live and silent auctions, tarot card reader and entertainment by country/rock/swing band Trailer Trash! Attire is casual. Come join the fun and help children escape to the magical world of the arts!

Bargain hunters and book lovers take note: The Friends of the Minnetonka Library will hold a sale of hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction in hardback and paperback. All Books are withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library. Donations accepted September 4-12.
