5th Annual Celebration of Summer!

Registration for the 2018 Big Island & Back Paddle Event to benefit ICA Foodshelf and Freshwater Society is now open!  

Event Date: Saturday, August 11. Bib Pick Up: 8:00am,  9:00am start.

Early registration saves you a few bucks!

This all-ages event welcomes canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. Paddle will kick off at Excelsior Beach near the playground. 

The Excelsior Brewing Company returns for the 5th year as our primary sponsor and after-party headquarters. We'll have complimentary food from Joey Nova's, beer for purchase, awards, swag, music by Wondercure and our always popular door prize drawings! 

Yoga on the beach led by Spirit of the Lakes Yoga will get those muscles warmed up and ready to paddle. You'll be ready for your close-up with our roving photographer from Tonka Paparazzi.

Oh, and don't miss Iog-rolling at the beach and the brewery hosted by Blue Ox.  Who knows, you may be the next YouTube sensation!  All this, and a few other surprises make this the best summer event on Lake Minnetonka!
