When Alexandra Riffle and Courtney Simonson launched the @MWHSPride Twitter handle and blog “170 Days of #MWHSPride,” the Mound Westonka High School seniors weren’t trying to make a statement. Mound Westonka High School senior Alex Robbins was recently named a National Merit semifinalist, putting him in an elite national group in the running for scholarship funds.

“Alex is a unique individual—he’s very bright,” says math teacher Lisa Paul. “He’s always looking to further his thinking. When I give notes in class, he’s already five steps ahead, asking questions.” Read more about Mound Westonka Senior Alex Robbins Named National Merit Semifinalist
