When the puppy craze strikes, it strikes hard. Unleash your child’s love of dogs with this art class focused on canine appreciation. The class will begin with a reading from a book about puppies to get artists in the right mindset. Then students will create a plush puppy, complete with its own special collar and dog house. Subjects include geology, weather patterns, the four seasons and their effect on the earth’s inhabitants, erosion and even volcanic eruptions. Our tradition of nurturing and showcasing local talent continues with performances and demonstrations/sales and plein air artists creating in the park representing past and current cultural communities.
