This special event presented by Mrs. M will feature singing, music, dancing, hors d’oeuvres and even a special guest appearance by Vikings Hall of Fame star Randall McDaniel. Hot to Cold Hawaiian and Winter Party
Aloha! Transport your kiddo to a warmer climate during the Thanksgiving break with a Hawaiian celebration. Mrs. M. invites children ages 5–12 for a day of limbo, games, fruit kabobs, ice cream and penguins. $70 each day, $130 for both. 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Southshore Center 952.474.7635. Halloween Enchanted Forest
A special night of trail trick-or-treating awaits you and the family at Lowry Nature Center’s Enchanted Forest Halloween. Visitors can enjoy a sweet and salty mix of popcorn and treats while watching live storytelling, a mad scientist skit and puppet show. Costumes are encouraged. Fall Colors Festival
Fall is rich in seasonal traditions, and this festival makes it possible to participate in many of them. With nostalgic activities like a tractor-drawn wagon ride, apple cider pressing and various craft workshops, there is something for everyone. Roast a complimentary hot dog over the nearby campfire for a complete experience. $7.
