While we all may be feeling the wrath of the Polar Vortex, as Minnesotans, we can't be contained! Beat the wintery weather this weekend by attending The North American Pond Hockey Tournament and participating in the Flurry Scurry 5K Family Fun Run.
The run, hosted by the tournament and The Kelly Phillips Foundation, is in its first year. On Sunday, Jan. 26, the race kicks off with 1992 Olympian Janis Klecker as the race ambassador. The course is simple: out and back on the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail. Families, kids, adults and pets are welcome.
After the race, stick around to see the finals of The North American Pond Hockey Tournament and have a few refreshments.
