Experience a night of jazz unlike any other. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Chicago’s Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, Chicago-born jazz master Jack DeJohnette heads a quintet that features artists from the organization: pianist Muhal Richard Abrams and reedists Henry Threadgill and Roscoe Mitchell, all of whom are composers in their own right. These jazz greats are accompanied by Chicago bassist Larry Gray, who completes the quintet.  All ages. $35 for non-members, $30 for Walker members. 8 p.m. McGuire Theater, Walker Art Center, 1750 Hennepin Ave., Mpls.; 612.375.7600; walkerart.org.
