Turkey Trot

Gear up for that big Thanksgiving dinner with a 6K or 10K walk or run. All participants receive a long-sleeved T-shirt and a Turkey Trot St. Paul finisher’s medallion. Donate to the Open Door food shelf online or bring a healthy food item to the race to help families in need this holiday season. Check online for a list of food items to donate. Yoga and a Pint

Como Park Yoga offers a stress-releasing yoga class every Monday this month. Bring a mat, water and your ID and enjoy a one-hour yoga class taught by a certified yoga instructor, followed by a pint of your choice (or soda for attendees under 21). Wayzata Match Race Sailing featuring the m32 carbon-fiber speed machine

As part of a World Match Race Tour Sailing Exhibition, two Marstrom 32 Catamarans will be in action on Wayzata Bay on August 6-7, 2016. The all carbon fiber, high performance M32 Catamarans will provide a show for spectators, and give thrilling rides to VIPs and sponsors with professional match racing taking place, viewers can expect some high flying action from the shoreline of Wayzata Bay and event Headquarters at 6 Smith and Wayzata Brew Works. The event on Wayzata Bay is part of an effort by community eaders to develop an annual, all-encompassing Lake Minnetonka Festival. YOGA AND A FLIGHT!

To celebrate the vitality and growth of the West 7th neighborhood, Bad Weather Brewing Company and The Den Yoga are teaming up for Yoga & a Flight. Saint Paul residents are invited to a FREE yoga class designed for all levels. Attendees simply need to bring a mat and a smile to participate. The yoga will take place outside (weather permitting) at Bad Weather Brewing Company and inside if it’s raining. The instruction will be led by instructors from The Den Yoga. Women Run the Cities

September 27 Celebrate sisterhood at Women Run the Cities, one of ESPN’s top five races for women in the nation. Organizers say that this popular event—featuring 10-mile and 10K runs, a 5K run/walk and a girls’ 1-mile run—is great for experienced runners and newbies alike. The courses start and finish at gorgeous Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, and track along the Mississippi River. Register online; spots fill up quickly. Girls’ run open to ages 4–12. Adult and Family Sailing

You and three guests (kids are more than welcome) will learn to rig a Sonar and, with an expert onboard, enter a race. Cool down with dinner and drinks, included in the price, at the MYC Grill & Chill. If racing sounds like a little too much, these instructors know how to slow down for an easygoing afternoon on the water.
