St. David’s Center for Children & Family Development will mark the 30th anniversary of the Make Them Shine Gala, a festive celebration that includes an inspirational program hosted by KARE-TV’s Rena Sarigianopoulos, a rousing live auction emceed by auctioneer and WCCO-TV’s Frank Vascellaro, and a Shine On Festivities After-Party.

The Make Them Shine Gala is St. David’s Center for Children & Family Development’s largest fundraising event of the year, raising nearly $5 million over the past three decades and supporting more than 40,000 of Minnesota’s children with inclusive early childhood education, pediatric therapies, children’s mental health services, autism treatment and family support during St. David’s Center’s nearly 60-year history. As a result, preschoolers start kindergarten ready for success and children with developmental challenges build the skills they need to function well in everyday life.

St. David’s Center for Child & Family Development, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been a resource for tens of thousands of Twin Cities families since its inception as a nursery school in 1961. Its founders and leaders knew the importance of investing early in a child’s life to produce the best possible outcomes for every child and family.
