The first Excelsior Girl's Night Out of the season kicks off in downtown Excelsior on Thursday June 5.This season Excelsior Girl's Night Out is partnering with Go Red For Women and the American Heart Association. Come out opening night for exclusive Girl's Night Out store and restaurant specials.  Enjoy live music right on Water St. Meet the women of the Excelsior Fire Department who will be doing hands only CPR demos.  Tour the famous Mammo-a-go-go Mammogram bus or get a mammogram. This year marks the fourth annual Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome to benefit GiGi's Playhouse! Get moving for a great cause. Sign up for a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, or a kids' dash, followed by an afternoon of big fun: music, face painting, food trucks, balloons and more.

All proceeds will benefit GiGi's Playhouse and the free programs and services they provide to the Down syndrome community throughout the Twin Cities.  Read more about Cody's Dash

Our annual fundraiser event on Lighthouse Island is THE kick off to the summer social season. Youngsteds Companies and KleinBank are teaming up to host the 2nd Annual Chanhassen Charity Car Show.

This show is free to the public and is great family fun. The event features over 100 classic and exotic cars including a replica of the Batmobile from the 1960's TV series Batman.  There will be local actors in costume as characters from the Batman series, food, and a bouncy castle for kids. Come to the Wayzata High School cafeteria for a one-of-a-kind food drive. Join local art students raising money for IOCP Food Shelf. Stop by Excelsior Commons Park this Memorial Day to support local athletes as they complete a grueling fitness challenge, to benefit the Lone Survivor Foundation. Local beer, food, and merchandise vendors will be available to the public. The event also features a live DJ, a US Army rock climbing wall, and ex Navy SEALS parachuting into the park! The hills are alive at this fun event, where audience members are invited to sing along with the familiar tunes of Sound of Music. The classic film will be projected on a giant screen, with subtitles for the audience to interact and jump into the action.
