Join the Wayzata Cotillion at the Wayzata Country Club on March 6 for the annual Cotillion. Registration is open for students from fourth to 12th grades; the program offers three levels of curriculum: Club Cotillion (fourth and fifth grades), Social Skills Essentials (sixth through eighth grades) and Advanced College Preparation (ninth through 12th grades). Strap on your life vests for a 10K paddle across Lake Minnetonka. Participants can canoe, kayak or paddleboard to Big Island, then will join Excelsior Brewing for a celebration, featuring food, drinks, music and more.

Can Do Canines invites the public and their well-behaved pet dogs to take part in the Can Do Woofaroo on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The event will take place at the Can Do Canines campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a one-mile walk beginning at 11 a.m. The Can Do Woofaroo celebrates the amazing partnership between assistance dogs and the people who need them. Feline Rescue volunteers will be clipping cat and kitten nails. For their safety, cats should be transported in a carrier. COVID 19 protocols will be followed at the clinic. People bringing their cats in for a nail clipping should wear face masks. A donation of $10.00 per cat for the care of the shelter and foster cats and kittens is suggested for the nail clippings.
