Authentic food, traditional music and hearty imbibing are expected at any German festival, but the Saint Paul Oktoberfest offers its own twist on the traditions you love.

Pay homage to the original Oktoberfest by re-enacting the 1810 wedding feast of Princess Therese and the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig with one lucky bridal party from the Landmark Center. Emulate the horse races of the old country by racing beds down the street to earn money for charity. And new this year are German dance lessons, featuring the waltz and the polka.
