Shorewood Southshore Center Annual Spring Garden Fair

Gardeners of all levels are welcome at the Southshore Center’s event.
Tonkadale's Anna Risan shows off an example of a lush fairy garden. Find more at the Spring Garden Fair.

Some of us just don’t have a green thumb. The experienced among us point and laugh while we toil in the beating sun watching our efforts lead to nothing—not even a single sprout. That could all change at the annual Spring Garden Fair at the Southshore Center.

Learn all about caring for those seedlings and summoning chlorophyll at will at this event, which features a vendor expo and presentation topics such as fairy gardens, bees, backyard vegetable gardening and more. As you digest your new knowledge, enjoy a luncheon with chef Connie Blanchard, participate in a seed exchange and take home a swag bag. The fair is designed for gardeners of all levels, as that thumb can always be a deeper shade of green.
