Donna Duffy recommends a mild to slightly deeper exfoliation during the fall, once a week for five or six weeks. Organic Pharmacy, a London-based organic cosmetics line, offers an enzyme peel mask facial treatment, available in a lower retail strength ($79). A professional strength version ($125-$200) can be applied by the pros at Fusion Lifespa. “The key is to have somebody you trust perform [skin services],” Duffy explains. “Have a good conversation about the after-care and a good sunscreen, and you are good to go.”
Duffy also recommends Organic Pharmacy’s gentle 10-day detox kit ($169), which helps improve the quality and health of your skin after a summer of sun and maybe some indulgent food and beverages. The kit includes four oral supplements that are taken in tandem with a clean diet. “When you choose to do detox, we set you up with their online system,” says Duffy. “It gives you recipes every day and a food list of what to shop for.”
Finally, while Fusion Lifespa doesn’t focus on makeup, Duffy sees all shades of nudes trending. Fusion Lifespa carries Organic Pharmacy’s light to dark nude pencils ($29.95) and lip stains ($39) that won’t wash off after a sip of water.
Fusion Lifespa hosts its annual CHI Night on November 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy wine, appetizers, 20 percent off retail and free service samples. Visit the website to learn more.
