It’s a party and fashion extravaganza tailor made to celebrate cancer survivors and help those who are currently facing cancer challenges in their lives. Sponsored by the Angel Foundation, this event on Thursday, October 1 at A’BULAE in Saint Paul will feature a runway show, shining the spotlight on men’s and women’s fashions from local shops and boutiques, hosted by Alexis Thompson from MyTalk FM 107.1 and Emily Engberg from Twin Cities Live. In a special celebratory twist, some of the runway models will be cancer survivors.
There will also be shopping before and after the show from runway vendors and other boutiques including Marquess Studios and Just Cause Jewelry. The event, which begins at 5:30 p.m., will also feature a silent auction, raffle, appetizers and cocktails.
Proceeds benefit adults with cancer and their families by offering emergency financial assistance, education and support programs.
