We can spend hours at the local mall trying to find the most comfortable sneakers or the perfect pair of jeans. With all of the time and energy we put into shopping, it’s no wonder we often need to take a break to refuel at the food court. But finding a meal that’s fast and convenient doesn’t necessarily mean that we need to sacrifice our healthy habits.
Field Day, which opened in October, is a new healthy, fast-casual restaurant at Minnetonka’s Ridgedale Center, brought to us by the team behind the Good Earth restaurants. Field Day offers natural foods and beverages that are both fast and nutritious. “We know that people are in a hurry and are usually grabbing things to fill the tank. Field Day presents nourishing good food that is produced very quickly,” says Parasole group chief operating officer Donna Fahs.
Some offerings are taken directly from Good Earth’s menu, so they’ll be familiar to visitors at Ridgedale Center. Among these are the cashew chicken salad, the Good Earth original tea and the Go Green lemonade. “Field Day is a great complement to Ridgedale Center, because it’s appealing to the shoppers as well as the nearly 2,300 employees of the mall,” says Fahs.
“There is a lot more focus on healthy eating today, so Field Day is an excellent option for dining as well as home and office deliveries,” says vice president of marketing Kip Clayton.
