Minnetonka’s Groveland Elementary Hosts Annual Tonka Trot

Lace up your sneakers! On October 5, Groveland Elementary School hosts its fourth annual Tonka Trot. The event features 10K and 5K races and a 1.5-mile fun run;  every penny raised goes directly to benefit the kids and classrooms at Groveland. “We started this event with the goal of encouraging healthy living for our kids and the community,” says coordinator Janelle Arndt. “It’s a very fun morning every year.” Come for the run, but stick around for the gorgeous lake views on the course and some tasty post-race snacks. Kids can bounce around in fun inflatables to work off their post-run energy right in Groveland’s backyard.
