As concerns about COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, spread across the globe, community members right here in the Lake Minnetonka area are stepping up. 

Below is a list of local resources, including free lunches for kids who are out of school, restaurants offering curbside pickup, guidance from local authorities and more.

Below are restaurants offering free food for children who are out of school.

318 Cafe is offering food for children who are out of school, as well as service industry workers who are struggling right now.

Other Resources:

Lunds & Byerlys is offering extended hours, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., every day. The company asks shoppers to reserve the first hour of opening (7-8 a.m.) for shoppers who are at a higher risk of severe illness by COVID-19, including the elderly and those who are immunocompromised.

Top Dog Country Club is offering daycare with discounted curbside pickup and delivery of your dog. 

Buddies Pet Food offers no-contact doorstep delivery.

Holger Dental Group will remain open to provide emergency dental services, as well as develop an educational video series with helpful tips to stay healthy during these next few weeks. They have also partnered with Complete Health Dentistry to help alleviate emergency room visits related to oral health. They will have "the proper personal protective equipment and protocols including tele dentistry to help diagnose and treat pain to honor social distancing and necessary emergency treatments," according to a press release.
