June 2015

In the June 2015 issue of Lake Minnetonka Magainzine, you'll find boat-friendly summer snacks to indulge on at the lake, a family retreat, how locals are preserving Bushaway Road, and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Linda Ross moved to Minnesota 40 years ago when she and her husband decided they needed something new—and Stamford, Connecticut, wasn’t quite cutting it. “It was completely different,” she says. “It was an adjustment for me, but I’m glad we picked the Deephaven area.

As Minnesotans, we are duty-bound to enjoy our many lakes to the max; our state motto won’t let us forget our natural abundance of water (86,936 square miles of it, across the state). We are deep in the season to be on the lake, and by “on the lake” we mean boating.
