After a COVID-19 year off, the Excelsior area ICA food shelf fundraiser returned in December and was held at Lakes Area Realty. Santa Claus greeted children and posed for pictures. Photographer Emily John provided free portraits in exchange for donated funds, food or perishable items. On Water Street, Excelsior firefighters and Sparky the firehouse dog posed with children and gave away junior firefighter hats.
