Rock & Roll Icon to Winemaker

Not many people can provide as rich a history as Maynard James Keenan. How many ex-military people go on to acclaim as a rock star to various bands (Tool, Puscifer and Perfect Circle), go into acting and comedy and has even studied Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Rickson Gracie (he’s a purple belt). This is a man who is now leading the charge of winemaking in Arizona. What? A rockstar making wine? Give me a break, you might be thinking. But check this out. This man has traveled the world several times over with his bands and during that time Maynard got to taste first hand the greatest wines in existence. And what are winemakers if not artists?

Whether you are a fan of Main Man Keenan’s music or not, open your mind to this visionary soul that will put Arizona into the next edition of Wine Bible regarding great American wines.
