The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) and PROSHRED® Security
(Proshred) will host their fourth annual, nationwide “Shred Cancer”
event on Saturday, June 3. Community members are invited to bring their
personal documents to be securely shredded while raising funds for
cancer research around prevention.

The event will be held at the Commons WP offices, 540 Lake Street in
Excelsior from 10 am to 2 pm. The Minnesota location is co-sponsored by
The Commons – An Uncommon Workplace, with locations in Excelsior and
Minnetonka, and PROSHRED® Minnesota, owned by Excelsior resident Mark
Lindgren.

Individuals may bring up to five boxes of documents to one of PROSHRED®
Security's on-site shredding trucks to safely and securely dispose of
unwanted personal documents. The event is free to attend and a suggested
donation of $5 per box will go directly towards funding AICR’s cancer
research and education programs. Several locations will host additional
events and raffles.
