December 1–24 Macy’s in downtown Minneapolis transforms its eighth floor into a magical North Pole. Macy’s Santaland offers a magical walk through the elves’ workshop, the cozy home of Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the colorful holiday candy land. There are sweet treats made fresh from Mrs. Claus’ kitchen and a toy shop that makes holiday shopping convenient and fun. All ages. Free; photo packages $20-$60. 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
