In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the historic James J. Hill House is giving a nod to the history of Irish-Americans in Minnesota. Both James Jerome Hill and his wife Mary Theresa Mehegan were of Irish decent, along with many of the household servants. Hear stories of the mansion’s former occupants in themed tours that include Irish songs, organ music and needlework demonstrations. Reservations recommended. $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and students, $6 for children ages 6–17, free for children ages 5 and younger and MNHS members. 10 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Saturday, 1–3:30 p.m. Sunday.
