This edition of the Minnesota Historical Society’s history forum series explores how the political climate of late 1890s led to the Wounded Knee massacre in South Dakota. Reflecting on this sobering moment in U.S. history, Heather Cox Richardson of Boston University will discuss the dangers of polarized politics in America.
