Reach for Resources (Reach) will focus on the theme of “rest and relaxation” for their summer fundraiser this year, holding a unique, resort respite contest as part of the event’s silent auction. Reach’s annual Reach “On Tap” event will be held Monday, June 17, from 6-9 p.m. at Wooden Hill Brewing Company in Edina. The general public is invited to bid either in person at the event or online at https://reachontap.givesmart.com, May 1-June 17, to stay at various resorts. BOB FM will award the resort with the highest bid for their donated week a $5,000 advertising package. All proceeds will benefit the Reach for Resources Weekend Ventures program, allowing more R & R opportunities to participants and their caregivers.

In addition to the resort respite contest, food and beverages, live music, an inspiring presentation, and fun games will fill the evening. The presentation will highlight Reach’s Weekend Ventures, a respite program offered six times per year. Respite is a caregiving service that provides a short-term break for caregivers.

Early-bird tickets for Reach “On Tap” are available for $35 until June 1. After that date, advance tickets will be $40, and tickets at the door may be purchased for $50. The ticket price includes one free beer or other beverage, a $5 food coupon, and a Reach for Resources t-shirt. Guests may purchase tickets at https://reachontap.givesmart.com. There is no cost to bid online for the one-week vacations or other silent auction items, and attendance at the June 17 event is not necessary to bid on items. Online bidding can be done from a computer or mobile device anytime now until 8:30 p.m., June 17.
