The K9 benefit event this year will feature a raffle, demos, select vendor tables, and local treats. Plan to attend for a great day of community and giving back!

Hero K9 is a national, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to protecting our nation by providing funding to the Public Safety community for the purchase of K9s, training, and necessary equipment.

They provide equipment grants to public safety agencies (law enforcement, fire, and search and rescue) for their K9 program(s) of the following:

+ Door Pop & Heat Alarm Systems

+ In-squad Kennels

+ Ballistic and Multi-threat Vests

Their mission is to aid in protecting our nation by providing funding to the Public Safety community for the purchase of K9s, training, and necessary equipment; and, their vision is to ensure that all public safety agencies have access to working dogs and the highest quality equipment and training so they may more effectively serve their community.

Every donation makes an impact on the safety of communities across our nation. Hero K9 is a 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible. 

Average costs of each piece of protective equipment:
Door Pop & Heat Alarm System: $1,000 - $1,200
In-Squad Kennel: $2,000 - $3,000, plus $300 - $800 freight
Ballistic or Multi-Threat Vest: $800 - $850
