Minnetonka Community Education presents the 10th Annual Tour
de Tonka bike ride, taking place on Saturday, August 1. Riders of all ages and
from across the country will get a chance to take in the beauty of the Lake
Minnetonka area and nearby communities. In 2014 there were over 3,100 riders
from 20 states. The event is fun, highly organized and the highlight of the
summer for hundreds of riders and volunteers alike. A portion of each rider's fee is donated to ICA Foodshelf (www.icafoodshelf.org).

We need volunteers to help with parking (directing vehicles
to maximize parking spaces), packet pick-up (checking them off the list and
ensuring they have a set list of items), and directing riders on the routes
(corner guards keep riders safe and on the right path). Volunteer in your
community and help us keep our riders safe! Shifts vary in length from one to
four hours, and volunteers are needed as early as 5:30am through 4:30pm.
There’s sure to be a shift right for you!

Please visit tourdetonka.org
for more information, to register to ride, or to fill out the simple volunteer form. Call
952-401-4157 with any questions. Thank you for your support!
