Minnesota Computers for Schools Computer Donation Drive

Earth Day is the perfect time to do some spring-cleaning and get rid of your old technology! On Saturday, April 27 Minnesota Computers for Schools is hosting a computer donation drive – drop off your old computer equipment and put it to good use in the community.

MCFS refurbishes and reuses all donated equipment. The refurbished equipment is placed in schools and educational nonprofits throughout the state.

25th Annual JDW Cotillions Return for Class of Social Skills and Dance

Join us at the Wayzata Country Club for a course of social skills and dance. Cotillion is designed to introduce students to social skills fundamentals that will instill confidence in developing positive relationships. We focus on how social skills affect all of their relationships, position them from a point of strength, and are the foundation of leadership. Our more advanced progroms teach how social skills define and build character, and are instrumental in achieving success and opening doors of opportunity. Book & Bake Sale

Oak Knoll Lutheran Church of Minnetonka will be hosting a unique combination Book Fair and Bake Sale on Saturday, April 27th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. More than 40 local authors will offer their books for sale at tables, and those authors are also happy to talk to the public about books, writing, publishing, and to answer questions you may have about getting your own stories into print. Finnegan’s House: St. Patrick’s Day grand opening

Finnegan’s’ four-story brewhouse and taproom development is almost complete, and it’ll open the doors and tap the first ceremonial kegs on St. Patrick’s Day. The opening celebrates the company’s move to its own brewing equipment. The festivities go until midnight.

Ages 21 and up. No cover charge.
