Healthy tips from Caron Chiropractic.

In 1992, Marty Caron, doctor of chiropractic medicine, and his brother, Matthew, started Caron Chiropractic on Snelling Avenue. Since then, they’ve expanded their operation to include six doctors at their Snelling Avenue and North Oaks locations. While chiropractic care and massage therapy are the specialties of Caron Chiropractic, many patients seek acupuncture therapy as well as the yoga and Pilates sessions offered at both locations.

According to Marty Caron, yoga, Pilates and swimming are some of the best ways to keep your spine strong and flexible throughout the year.

“Everyone wants to strengthen their body,” Caron says in regard to current workout trends, “but there are three things we emphasize at Caron Chiropractic: flexibility, alignment and strength in the form of inhibition techniques to isolate and focus on certain muscle groups.”

In addition to focusing on primary goals for their patients, the Caron brothers encourage aerobic exercise to prepare your back for a full summer of activities. “Aerobic exercise is important for increased blood flow to the muscles in your back,” Marty Caron says, “furthering the prevention of injury due to physical exertion.”
