Perfect your tan at Excelsior’s new Glow Lounge.
Achieving beautifully tanned skin during a Minnesota winter is not an easy task, but the Glow Lounge, which recently opened an Excelsior location, hopes to make bronze beauty more accessible—and safe (they offer only sunless tanning).
The Glow Lounge opened its Excelsior shop in August (other locations are in Edina and St. Paul). Its airbrush tanning system is eco-friendly and organic; custom tans, matched to the client’s skin tone, cost $40 a session with add-ons including quick developing sessions for $10, fragrances for $2 or pH balancing moisturizers for $3. Clients can also pick up organic skin care products to help maintain their tans.
