Wayzata’s St. Bart’s Receives iPad Donation

Wayzata’s St. Bart’s receives an anonymous donation of 30 iPads for new mobile technology lab.

Built to resemble the coolest sleek gray laundry machine you’ve ever seen, the new mobile iPad cart, complete with 30 iPads with apps, was anonymously donated to St. Bartholomew Catholic School in Wayzata last school year.  As principal Lynn Volkenant wrote in her announcement, “Such generosity is a little overwhelming and very exciting.” The iPads have been used by students of all ages at St. Bart’s, which serves students in pre-K through sixth grade. Not only can teachers provide an iPad for students during lessons, they can also sign out iPads individually to try out different computer-based curricula.
