New Reflections Salon has been a Minnetonka mainstay for more than 11 years at its Ridgedale Center location. When the mall underwent major renovations in 2015, New Reflections took the leap, too—with a move to a new location within the mall and a design overhaul. They also entered Salon Today magazine’s Salon of the Year competition, open to salons that have done a remodel or new build-out during the past year. Dr. Barbro Brost, D.C., co-founder of the Brost Clinic in Wayzata, was one of 10 recipients of the Human Rights Champion award in February from the nonprofit Citizens Commission for Human Rights. She received the award for her philanthropic support of CCHR and for advocating for non-pharmaceutical care for mental health diagnoses like ADHD and depression. “I felt very excited to get the recognition for many years of dedication to drug-free health care,” Brost says.
