Top etiquette tips for using Saint Paul’s great dog parks.

Here are three dog park etiquette recommendations from Brad Meyer, public services manager at Saint Paul Parks and Recreation:
- Always bring plastic bags to clean up after your dog.
- Keep an eye on your dog at all times. Be prepared to intervene if a scuffle occurs, and move to a different area of the park, if necessary.
- If your dog has a history of being aggressive, or is sensitive or fearful around other dogs, the dog park might not be a good fit. Meyer says dogs in heat, and those who have not been neutered or spayed, should not visit dog parks.
