For the fifth consecutive year, Tonkadale is partnering with ICA Food Shelf for the Grow and Give fundraiser. Tonkadale is providing free vegetable starts and seeds to the first 100 community members who wish to grow a home garden for the food shelf.
The plan is quite simple: Plant your free veggies, harvest them, and deliver your fresh produce to the Tonkadale Greenhouse. ICA volunteers pick up daily from the greenhouse throughout summer and fall as needed. Giving back and making a difference in your community is rewarding in and of itself, but Tonkadale is willing to further encourage donations by offering special loyalty points to extra-generous participants.
