You might recognize Abbey Holden’s work if you’re a fan of Lilly Pulitzer’s colorful clothing and accessories. Holden, who grew up in Deephaven, has worked on designs for Pulitzer. She’s also collaborated with stationery shop Russel + Hazel, Winsome Apparel, Lee Jofa, Mahi Gold, Benevolent Beauty and Sweet Shady Lane. After her stint in Philadelphia while she designed for Pulitzer, Holden is back in Minneapolis to focus on her own artwork. You can find the University of Denver grad in her studio, usually painting. She currently has a residency at A-Mill Artist Lofts, a building designed for artist productivity. She says her space is “full of natural light and good music.” Holden often paints custom water landscapes and seascapes, in gradients of blue, just like Lake Minnetonka. You can find some of her work locally at Gray Home, Lifestyle Interior Designs and The Sitting Room.
