Don’t miss one of Lake Minnetonka’s favorite winter events—the North American Pond Hockey Championship. This year, the tourney returns January 16-19, and will benefit Wild player Jason Zucker’s #give16 cause. The tournament was founded by the DWB Memorial Foundation and offers local and regional players (pros and hobbyists alike) the chance to gather for a little pond hockey—a game that might be the most Minnesotan of all. In addition, the weekend includes other events, food, concerts and activities for kids and grown-ups. Teams can register for hockey games or bean bag; check out pondhockeylakeminnetonka.com for details and registration.
