Help the Orono Lions raise funds while getting your golf on this January.
Join the Orono Lions Saturday, January 26, in Long Lake for the annual Snowball Open frozen golf tournament. Tee times are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and while there is no cost, a $25 donation per golfer is suggested.
By supporting the Snowball Open, you’re helping various local organizations like:
- Red Lion Reader Project
- Poinsettias Delivery
- Long Lake Veterans Memorial
- Long Lake lakeshore cleanup
- Restoration projects
- High school scholarships
- Corn Days parade
- Local Boy and Girl Scouts

- Salvation Army bell ringing
- Adopt-a-Highway cleanup
