It’s official – St. Louis Park Magazine has launched and we are so excited to bring this magazine to the community. Last night, we celebrated with a party at Rojo Mexican Grill in the Shops at West End and it was great to meet so many folks, many of whom are part of stories in our first issue as well as upcoming issues. It was also nice to hear that people are already reading and enjoying the magazine. That’s the goal!
Our September issue has something for everyone. We have a great story on women’s health – what to know at every age and stage – and we also shine a light on the St. Louis Park Community Foundation and all they do for this community. The title of the story is “The Common Good” and as one guest at the launch party pointed out to me last night, that’s not a phrase you hear very often these days. Speaking of good, learn more about Putting Children First, another great St. Louis Park organization that is truly making a difference for kids in the community.
What else? How about five outstanding high school seniors from St. Louis Park High School and Benilde-St. Margaret’s? Or a glimpse into Beth El Synagogue, celebrating a recent renovation, a vibrant community and planning for the future. And last, but certainly not least, we introduce you to the best burgers in The Park. (You will be pleased to meet them.)
These and other stories fill the pages of our inaugural issue and we are looking for your ideas and your suggestions to make future issues of St. Louis Park Magazine just as enlightening, interesting and community-centric as this one. Let’s keep in touch at slpmag.com.
Thank you to all for the warm welcome to St. Louis Park. We’re so happy to be here.
