During a summer study abroad trip to Morocco, Alex Davis found the inspiration that would later propel her to create her own line of boots. “Morocco on a rudimentary level is an amazing culture,” Davis says, who was raised in Minnetonka. “It’s full of very unique culture that is unable to be replicated by other Middle Eastern countries.”
Davis’ fashion line, Cobra Society, includes boots of all shapes and sizes, many of which are covered in a colorful hand-woven pattern of wool. Davis not only relishes the creativity of designing her own products, she enjoys the freedom that comes with running her own company.
“My favorite part about owning my own business is being able to create what I want,” she says. “I am learning how to run a business while running a business, which can be absolutely crazy and seriously rewarding all at the same time.”
