Casco Beach
Although it’s a narrow strip of land only 60’ wide by 235’ long, Casco Beach is great for swimmers. Beach features include a swimmers’ dock and buoys around the swim area. Lake Independence Beach

Lake Minnetonka Regional Park Beach
If you’re looking for a swimming experience without lake water, check out the sandy-bottomed, chlorinated swimming pond at Lake Minnetonka Regional Park. Park features also include a changing shelter, concessions, large beach umbrellas and picnic areas. Open Memorial Day–Labor Day, 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Life guards on site noon–8 p.m. Memorial Day, weekends and daily June 13–Aug 14. $3 per person, free for children under one, $5 season pass sold on-site only. Wayzata Beach
Beach features include a changing shelter with bathrooms, exterior shower, picnic area, volleyball courts and boat access. Open June 11–August 14, beach is guarded daily noon–6 p.m. unless temperature falls at or below 65 degrees. Parking is limited and some spaces require a Wayzata parking sticker.
