A mixture of “selfishness and selfless attempts” decorates the walls of the Orchard Art House in Excelsior, paying homage to Minneapolis’ varied art scene. Opened in 2010 by Erin Kate Duininck, the house is her best effort to offer up a true and meaningful response to all she has experienced.
Encouraged to pursue her creative endeavors by her parents, Duininck got her hands into different types of art, from apprentice work as a silver-smith to performing in a band, and now focuses on her jewelry line of empathetic and sincere pieces.
