Quality items at an affordable price is how Jennifer Finlay, owner of The Bee Cottage, likes to describe her shop, which offers a mix of new and heirloom items. Open one weekend a month (generally the second Wednesday of every month through Saturday or Sunday), The Bee Cottage is an “upscale flea market” carrying original pieces such as artwork, china and reupholstered furniture.
While you never know what you may find in the store since most products are one-of-a-kind finds, Finlay carries some regulars such as wine bottle candles made of soy wax ($22) and Belle Vache handmade leather bags and fur accessories.
