How to Meet Other Entrepreneurs in the Twin Cities

A group of entrepreneurs meets at a Twin Cities networking group.
Go offline and connect with fellow business owners.

On your journey as an entrepreneur, it can sometimes be overwhelming and a little lonely. Connecting with other business owners can be a great source of inspiration. Here are a few places to start:

Groups. The Twin Cities Collective is the largest local group and has both an active online community and an event calendar, making it a great place to start. Browse the online directory to find additional groups that interest you.

Classes. If a networking event seems intimidating, start with a class where meeting people is more low-key and you’ll learn something new. LAB for Business offers classes ranging from SEO to Mindset that are led by local industry experts. Twin Cities Collective and Construction2Style also have great courses.

Masterminds. Take learning and collaboration to the next level with a Mastermind Group such as the Minneapolis Mastermind or Business Women’s Circle. In a small group of like-minded individuals, you’ll work on your personal and professional development under the guidance of experts and the support of your peers.

Co-work. Join a dynamic community through a co-working space such as The Commons, Modern Well and WeWork (to name a few). Many spaces offer options from your own office to a communal area, full-time and part-time memberships and an array of amenities from free coffee to lunchtime yoga.
