For April, I’ve chosen something really cool and different. Rioja might be a familiar wine region to many, and is a great source for outstanding wines at great values. On the higher end, we have the Vina Tondonia Reserva 2004. This is a chance to try a wine that is already 15 years old, and though it is ready to drink right now and tasting great, it can cellar for another 15. Rioja is a large wine region in northern Spain known for great medium- and full-bodied reds made from predominantly tempranillo. The wine is savory, a bit spicy, and will have a slightly lighter hue of red in the glass due to its age, much like a Chianti. Enjoy this with your next burger. $41.99.
